Regina Bell McFarland grew up in Austin, Texas where she graduated from St. Stephen's Episcopal School and was honored as an ESPN scholastic athlete.  She graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University in 1994 with double majors in Biology and Anthropology.   Dr. McFarland attended the University of Texas at Houston for medical school then completed her residency in Adult Psychiatry and a fellowship in Child Psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School.  During medical school Dr. McFarland received a grant and award for research on early puberty from the N.I.D.D.K in 1995.  She was elected president of the medical fraternity at U. T. Houston and co- chief resident with Dr. Lotan for the child fellowship.  She went on to teach at the medical school until the birth of her second child in 2009. She has been in private practice since 2003. Dr. McFarland is board certified in Adult and Child Psychiatry and re-certified in 2014. Her specialties include Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety, Depressive Disorders, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. She is married with two elementary aged children. She has been on the advisory board for three Dallas schools and given talks to several churches and schools in the area. She has been interviewed by KNON radio and Dallas Child Magazine.  She has been honored as a "D Magazine" top psychiatrist and "Vitals Patient's Choice" physician.

Dr. Sandra "Sandy" Lotan

Dr. Sandra Lotan is board certified in Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry. After graduation from Baylor Medical School in Houston, Texas in 1998, she completed her Psychiatry residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. As a resident, she was awarded the American Association of Directors of Psychiatry Residency Training Ginsburg Fellowship for Teaching Excellence in Medical Student Education. She was also chosen as the recipient of the APA Glaxo/Wellcome Fellowship Award and served on the APA Committee of Children with Mental and Developmental Disorders from 2000-2002. During her fellowship in Child Psychiatry at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas, Dr. Lotan served as Chief Resident of her Fellowship program during her final year.  She was awarded the AACAP/Pfizer Award for Outstanding fellow in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 2002. 

Following her training, Dr. Lotan started her private practice in 2003. She also worked as a consultant to the Phoenix House of Dallas. She co-founded Park Cities Psychiatry in 2006.  Dr. Lotan specializes in mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, eating disorders, OCD and adjustment disorders. She welcomes collaboration with therapists, schools, tutors and other physicians.

Dr. Lotan lives in the Dallas area with her husband and two children.
